NYRewards

Welcome to NYRewards. By enrolling you agree to these terms, our Terms of service and our Privacy Policy.

Enrolment

To enrol, open an account and accept our terms. You can close your account at any time. If you close your account, any outstanding points, reward vouchers, and gifts will be forfeited and cannot be reinstated.

To join or access your account in-store, simply provide your registered email address to a member of staff at the till. Points earned in-store will be credited to your account at the time of purchase.

Marketing

We only send marketing about NYRewards and our products to enrolled accounts that have also opted in to receive marketing. Some of our loyalty emails are deemed transactional emails and these will inform you of your points balance and other important information. If you wish not to receive these please contact customercare@nealsyardremedies.com

About NYRewards

New member accounts start at Bronze and are upgraded to Silver or Gold based on spend (see tier status below for details). When transitioning our current loyalty customers to the programme we have added them into the respective tier based on their annual spend.

Members earn points for:

  • Purchases: 1 point for every £1 spent
  • Signing up to emails (20 points)
  • Referring friends who make a purchase
  • Birthdays
  • Completing your first purchase (50 points)

As members move up the tiers they get to swap points for:

  • Reward vouchers

As members move up the tiers they also unlock:

  • free gifts
  • exclusive access to promotions
  • exclusive access to new launches
  • invitations to exclusive events
  • win tours of our eco-factory

Points, reward vouchers and gifts have expiry dates and must be redeemed before they expire and tier status is subject to member purchase history.  

Programme eligibility & rewards

Who can join?

  • Consumers (not businesses)

Not valid for:

  • Guest checkouts (you must open an account)  
  • Businesses for affiliate lead generation
  • Employees or associates  

Unlocking and maintaining your tier status

When you enrol you unlock NYRewards status you then upgrade your status by purchasing products. Here’s how to move up the tier:  

  • Bronze: unlocked on enrolling 
  • Silver: unlocked when you spend £80-159 in 12 months 
  • Gold: unlocked when you spend £160+  within 12 months

Tier status is reviewed at the end of every 12 months from the day you reach it. Orders placed in the last 12 months will determine your tier status at the review date. You will need to have spent the required minimum spend threshold for the relevant tier in order to maintain tier status otherwise your tier status will be adjusted to your spend. 

Purchases earn points

Members accounts will be credited with 1 point for every £ spent.

Birthday

Reward points or a gift are unlocked on your birthday:

  • Bronze: 50 points
  • Silver: 75 points
  • Gold: 100 points

Points for rewards vouchers

This benefit is unlocked when you have collected at least 100 points: 

  • Points can be swapped for reward vouchers at any time
  • Reward vouchers can be generated and these are: £5 (100 points), £10 (200 points), £20 (400 points), £40 (800 points)
  • Reward vouchers do not have an expiry date

Expiry and other limitations for points, gifts and reward vouchers

Points 

  • Product purchase and refer a friend points expire after 12 months
  • Birthday points expire after 12 months
  • Points are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and have no cash value
  • Gift cards and treatments are excluded from loyalty points
  • Points cannot be earnt through the purchase of gift cards or treatments in our therapy rooms

Gifts 

  • Free gifts twice a year to our Silver and Gold members. Members will be informed via email newsletter or in-store when they can redeem their free gift

Reward Vouchers 

  • Reward vouchers do not expire
  • Only one reward voucher can be used per transaction 
  • Reward vouchers are ‘one time use’ and any unused value will be lost 
  • Reward vouchers are for purchases online at nealsyardremedies.com and in our stores
  • Reward vouchers do not apply to shipping costs, and cannot be used to purchase gift cards
  • Reward vouchers are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and have no cash value
  • Reward vouchers are the only voucher which cannot be combined with any other discount

Exclusive benefits for gold tier members 

  • Win a tour of our eco-factory
  • ·       Twice a year we will randomly select one member from our Gold tier who will be invited to a daytrip to our eco-factory in Dorset. We will cover reasonable costs of travel. The member can bring a guest with them.
  • ·       We may ask for your participation in photography/videography for our social media during the trip
  • ·       We will reach out via email if you are selected to arrange a suitable date and time

Invitations to events

·       As a Gold tier member we will reach out to you with invitations for exclusive in-store events. Travel for these events will be at the individuals expense.

Opportunity to test new products

·       As Gold tier member when we are in the process of releasing new products we may reach out to you via email to participate in pre-launch sampling

Refer a friend

In this section “Referrer(s)” means an existing account holder and “Referral Customer(s)” means a Referrer’s friends or family who has not previously shopped on nealsyardremedies.com and to whom the Referrer shares their unique link. “Referral Link” means the unique referral link we provide to Referrers.

How Referrers Earn Points

  • Only share your Referral Link with eligible friends
  • Eligible Referral Customers must click your link, place an order on nealsyardremedies.com, and apply the referral discount code
  • Members receive 200 points for each eligible referral. Points are pending and allocated to your account within 35 days of the Referral Customer's purchase. 
  • Referral points expire 12 months after they are issued
  • You can refer as many friends as you like
  • Points are earned only when a Referral Customer uses your link and places an order
  • Referrers should disclose to eligible friends that they will receive points on a successful referral

If Referral Customers frequently cancel orders, we may disqualify the Referrer.

How Referral Customers Get a Discount Code 

  • You must be a new customer (no existing or previous orders)
  • Use the Referral Link to place an order on nealsyardremedies.com and apply the referral discount code during the same visit
  • The referral discount code gives the new customer £10 off their first order and applies to your first order only and is for one-time use

Returns and cancellations

  • If a Referral Customer returns an order in full any points awarded to the Referrer will be removed
  • If a Referrer returns or cancels an order in full the points earned on that order will be removed from their account in full
  • If a Referrer refunds an order partially, points will be removed from their account partially too

Changes to the programme

Neal’s Yard Remedies reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue NYRewards, or any aspect of it, at any time. This includes the right to change the value of points, alter tier thresholds, remove or add benefits, and update these terms and conditions. We will give reasonable notice of any material changes via email or by posting an update on our website. Your continued participation in NYRewards following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Misuse and programme integrity

Neal’s Yard Remedies reserves the right to suspend or permanently close any member account where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, manipulation of the programme, or breach of these terms. This includes, but is not limited to, creating multiple accounts, manipulating the referral scheme, or misrepresenting purchases. Any points, vouchers, or benefits accrued through misuse will be void. Neal’s Yard Remedies’ decision in such matters is final.

Governing law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with NYRewards shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Privacy

Personal information will be collected, stored and processed for the purposes of administering your points programme, tracking spending and sending out marketing and offers (if you have opted in for marketing). We will process your personal information according to our Privacy Policy. Neal’s Yard Remedies processes personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Welcome Discount

Can be combined with other promotions, except where other offers are set to exclusive. Only one code per order.
