Latin name - Withania somnifera (also known as Indian ginseng).

Herbal Tinctures are an alcohol and water based preparation that are a traditional and convenient way to take herbal remedies.  The herb is steeped in a mixture of alcohol and water for a period of time before pressing. All the benefits of the herb are captured in the tincture. 

Dosage is normally between 1ml and 5ml added to a little water up to three times a day.

Excellent tincture

Dealing with difficult times this Chinese Herbal tincture has helped with anxiety and restful sleep.. Also helps calm heart palpitations. Would highly recommend this and many other Neals Yard tinctures. Great quality.. Thank you

Ashwagandha Chinese herbal tincture

It has a very strong potent flavour, but I quite like it. warms your throat. I take it to manage times of stress and anxiety. It helps me even if it is a placebo.

Been a life saver for years

I was introduced to this by a friend many many years ago and I now always have a bottle to hand. If I'm anxious or having a stressful day, I take a shot. If I have a challenging meeting or presentation to do, I take a shot. It's an amazing product and I wouldn't be without it now.
